Life has its ups and downs and sometimes the changes are difficult to cope with. Whether the challenges are expected or they seem to come out of the blue - sometimes you just need someone to talk to.

 

The aim of counselling is to support you in finding new ways to understand and solve the difficulties you are experiencing.

 

By giving you the strategies you need to identify the life changes you want to make; you’ll gain the control and self-belief to manage your life more effectively.

 

Counselling gives you the support you need to help cope with

the demands of life.

 

Sometimes it’s easier to repeat the same patterns of thinking and behaviour, and hope the difficult times will pass by. Counselling offers a safe space for you to find new ways to balance your feelings and identify your needs.

 

As a professional counsellor and therapist, I will listen to you in confidence and without judgement.

 

Clients come to me for counselling for a variety of reasons, such as: sleep issues, depression, negative thoughts, financial problems and many more. Through counselling, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want to live your life. Resulting in most, if not all, your life distress, fatigue, loneliness and inner emptiness being eliminated.

 

My aim is to help you:

  • cope with issues
  • regain control of your life
  • confront destructive patterns
  • make lasting life changes

 

To enable you to feel happy and healthy. I use an integrative approach drawing on:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Brief Solution Focused therapy (BSFT)

Gestalt Therapy and Psychodynamic including;

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and useful Mindfulness techniques to achieve the results you’re looking for.
